Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant professional discipline, you will have sound experience in handling major applications and a knowledge of planning law and procedures that will enable you to lead our enforcement and appeals work with vision and success. We'll expect you to have particular strengths in performance management and your use of initiative. Coupling this with communication and problem solving skills, you will be able to handle complex situations confidently and tactfully, thereby inspiring and motivating your staff.
