Our clients are a multi-diplinary consultancy who are currently seeking to recruit a Senior Town Planner who is MRTPI qualified to join their offices in London. You will play a key part in growing the business with their existing clients, especially in relation to the Sustainable Communities Plan, Regional Spatial Strategies and the London Plan and in addition, work with the established regeneration partnerships and newly emerging local delivery vehicles. You will have significant demonstrable experience of the following areas:
* Planning policy at regional, county or district level, preparation of masterplans, supplementary planning guidance and developments briefs.
* Preparation or processing large scale planning applications, including those involving Environmental Impact Assessment.
* Work on issues related to urban regeneration. Your workload will be varied and will offer the opportunity to carry out general planning consultancy, develop particular areas of expertise and gain experience of working with some prestigious clients. You will be involved in the preparation of bid proposals, maintaining client relationships, identifying new sources of business and developing new products and services to offer the market.
You will be required to travel throughout the defined territory in the course of your work. Applications from more experienced Planners would be welcomed.
